Born in Nottingham and fiercely proud of his Welsh roots, Cian is naturally drawn to character led stories that reflect the highs and lows of the human experience, often treading the line between comedy and drama. His last short, 'The Fools' Mate' stars BIFA winner Nell Barlow, premiered at the BAFTA/BIFA qualifying Bolton International Film Festival, won 'Best Short Film' at Cambria Film Festival, California and has garnered over 195k views since being released online. Having successfully crowdfunded 13k, his latest short, 'DUCK PRESS’, stars Matthew Marsh (Dunkirk, The Mauritanian, The Crucible - NT/West End) and Jordan Scowen (Master of the Air, Oedipus - West End) and is currently on the festival circuit.
Shot on a shoe string budget, ‘Music To Move You’ explores music’s ability to transcend that which so often cannot be expressed, to unite the divided and conquer the cruel. Above all, it demonstrates music’s power to move us - physically, emotionally and spiritually. In essence, let the music move you.
