Director Of The Year two years in a row at UKMVA 2024 & 2023, after winning UKMVA Best New Director 2021 and Music Video of 2022 at Webby awards, Aube Perrie attracts and works with the biggest names in music and advertising, known for his unique narratives delivered through striking imagery. In two years, his work has been nominated over a hundred times (D&AD, AICP, SXSW, UKMVA, Ciclope, Shots awards, British Arrows, ADC, 1.4, Kinsale…), winning 5 D&AD Pencils including a Graphite Pencil for Best Narrative work, UKMVA main categories Best Rock video (twice), Best Pop video, Best Hip-hop Video, and Best Alternative Video, and multiple Music Video of The Year and Best Director awards. Rolling Stone magazine included his controversial work « Megan Thee Stallion – Thot Shit» among The 150 Greatest Hip-Hop Videos of All Time, his work « Harry Styles – Music for a Sushi Restaurant » permanently entered the archives of The New York‘s Museum of Modern Art in 2023 and his gritty, B-movie-inspired video « The Hives – Bogus Operandi » was named Vimeo Video Of The Year 2023. With three new videos nominated for Video Of The Year at the next 2024 Shots awards (results to be announced), Aube has cemented his place as one of the most innovative directors in the industry.
