I wanted to help create a world that conveys the weight poverty holds over people today. A dampness of imagery that weighs heavily on the characters experience and their emotions. All the bruises, hard truths and resilience that comes with living in poverty, bottles up into just a few moments we share on-screen, but you can tell there's so much more to these characters, and their realities on the fringes of each frame.
