Director's Works

Missing Ali Kneer
Ali Kneer has consistently pursued the same goal throughout her career — first as a creative at Jung von Matt and Anomaly Berlin, and now with her directorial debut Missing: to craft purposeful storytelling that fosters empathy, visibility, and empowerment for life realities often overlooked. Her ability to infuse stories with emotion is both powerful and authentic, always grounded in honesty and urgency.
Never mention a percentage below 90, we were told when starting in advertising. People won’t assign meaning to it. No one cares if it’s not for everyone. But it’s because of this flawed logic that so many individual life stories are overlooked. "Missing" has always been about for few—the ones who never shared their story, believing they were alone in what is actually experienced by many. Everyone who came along on this journey knew that this film had a mission far beyond a typical commercial. We all knew who we were doing this for and how crucial it was to tell this story with full empathy and sensibility. Creating it brought us closer to both friends and strangers affected by Amenorrhea, making it undeniable that all realities, regardless of the percentage, deserve to be seen.
