Director's Works

Worst. Experience. Ever Alex Boutell
Alex Boutell A real talent and an original thinker, Alex is a director who can see a creative idea from a different angle whilst still holding true to its origins. A gift that makes every opportunity exciting. Alex started directing at 4Creative and is one of the long line of incredible talent to emerge from their creative stable. During his time there Alex became well known for his films for the Great British Bake Off and ‘#Vote100’ as well as his film for the Women’s Euros in 2017 Alex quickly climbed the ranks at 4Creative and went on to direct spots covering a wide range of genres and topics from Formula 1 to Jamie Oliver, but he soon started to gravitate towards more comedic work which led to collaborating with the likes of Simon Pegg, Vic Reeves, Jimmy Carr, David Mitchell, Sharon Horgan, Grayson Perry and most notably, Cookie Monster. Along the way Alex has received awards from the British Arrows (including his work for The Great British Bake Off), Creative Circle, a BAFTA nomination and, most recently, garnered a coveted Webby award for his well-received film for Channel 4, “Complaints Welcome”.
