Thank you all for entering the 1.4 Awards of Brilliant Filmmaking. They jury has been blown away by the creative ingenuity and quality of storytelling, which is all the more impressive given the practical constraints on filmmaking during these tough times.

When the standard is this high, it makes the job of judging even harder, so to give every entry the attention it deserves, we’ve extended the judging period to December 20th.

And though winning a 1.4 Award would be the best Christmas present you could get, we’d be stealing Santa’s thunder – and that’s not really in the spirit of the festive season.

So instead, we’re giving you yet another reason to look forward to 2021, as our virtual awards ceremony will be held early next year with the winners’ webzine to follow. We’ll be announcing the date very soon, so stay tuned.
