Bom dia. Boa tarde. Boa noite. directed by Pedro Becker (Brazil)
Agency: F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi
This is an interesting short-film that promotes an art event (not an easy brief, for sure!). I like the execution, the production design, the music, etc. But what I really love about it, is this CLAUSTROPHOBIC sensation constructed by the director. The message to the viewer is clear and strong: “Go out and see something!”
Bride Dress In A Frame – Madrid directed by Brenno Castro (Brazil)
I chose this piece, because it is not normal to see this kind of music promo in South America. We usually try to overdo things when it comes to Music, too much post, visual effects, strange costumes, overacting, etc. But this one is different: nice Cinematography, simple story, very well-executed. I like how the Director takes us through a world of madness and suffering, constructed by beautiful images! Well done Brenno!
Summer Hater- BGH directed by Juan Cabral (Argentina)
Agency: Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi
There’s not much to say about this one (that has not been already said). It was impossible not to choose it. This is a clear example of great South American Creativity. We need more ideas like this one!
